The 10th Annual Niagara Falls Firefighter's Christmas Toy Fund 5K & 10K will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at LaSalle Waterfront Park in Niagara Falls, New York. This year we are once again offering both a 5K and 10K option for runners to choose from at the same low price!
The event is being organized by the Niagara Falls Firefighters Christmas Toy Fund. All proceeds will be used to purchase new winter clothes and Christmas Toys for impoverished children in the Niagara Falls area.
START/FINISH
START TIME IS 11:00AM!
Both races will feature an out and back certified course (see maps below) along the beautiful upper Niagara River. The start and finish will be at LaSalle Waterfront Park located one block east of the north Grand Island Bridge on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open until 10:45am on race day. Paper applications will also be available on race day. Packet pickup will take place at the Niagara Riverside Resort from 9:30am right up until about 15 minutes before the start of the race at 11:00am.

* Register by October 4, 2023 to guarantee your official race t-shirt! After this day, any extra shirts will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc) we want runners to know up front that we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if needed OR convert this to a virtual event. There will be no refunds.
POST RACE CELEBRATION
Post race snacks & food will be served by the fireman after the race! Bottled water will be provided to runners as they cross the finish line.
PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at the Four Points Sheridan with overflow parking at the Salvation Army parking lot across the street.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the top male and female runners in each race (5K & 10K). Age group medals will be presented (see age groups below) and all participants can download custom finisher certificates showing overall and age group rankings from the event page and view/share finish line photos following the race!
14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
